Dune Buggies and River Cave Itinerary 

• Hotel pick-up (optional)
• Arrival at the ranch where the buggies are, in Macao
• After the explanation of the management and assignment of your buggy, we headed towards Macao beach, cross country.
• From Macao Beach, we go to a ranch where they make Dominican coffee, cocoa, and tobacco and we will learn about the process of making these products.
• We take the road to the Cave of Macao
• We arrive at the underground cave submerged by a river of crystal clear freshwater where you can bathe by jumping from almost 3 meters high
• Return to the buggie ranch through jungle trails
• End of the activity and return to the hotel

Stop at Playa Macao, a jewel of the Caribbean
Playa Macao has been recognized by UNESCO as one of the best beaches in the Caribbean and is located in the fishing village of Macao. It is quite extensive and is undoubtedly the favorite of surfers adventurers and lovers of buggies and four-wheels. The waves are strong and ideal for surfing and there is usually a moderate wind.

You will learn about the process of making the most famous local products in the Dominican Republic such as cocoa, coffee, tobacco, and Mamajuana (a Dominican aphrodisiac elixir).

In addition to knowing the process, elaboration, and history, you will be able to taste each one of these products and buy it as a souvenir of the trip.

You will enjoy a bath in the underground waters of a cenote. Descending some steps to a cave with a river of fresh water. Perfect for refreshing after driving through the mud.

Speedboat Tour in Punta Cana

During the excursion, you will experience the adrenaline rush of driving along the turquoise coastline while enjoying the cool sea breeze on a beautiful sunny day. During your boat ride, you will stop at a nearby coral reef to snorkel, something not to be missed!
You can swim with the protection of your life jacket, being continuously accompanied by the guide who will take you to the coral reefs and feed the fish himself to show you the different species that can be found there. In case you don’t want to snorkel anymore, you can return to the platform to enjoy the sun, with drinks.

DUNE BUGGY ADVENTURE
Our buggy experience at Adventure Park will take you through a scenic and thrilling experience. Our dirt roads will take you through trails, hills, ranches, dust, and a bit of mud for the soul. And what’s a buggy ride if there isn’t a river to take a dip in before continuing on for more excitement?

HORSE RIDING
Our horseback riding tour will take you through trails between ranches, hills, riverbeds, and a tree-covered ecosystem.

You will also visit our own typical Dominican farmhouse located in the middle of a cocoa plantation among many other tropical trees, where we will give you a presentation on the uses and history of cocoa, coffee, coconut, vanilla, and many other trees. We will also visit guava, carambola, passion fruit, chinola, mango, and avocado trees.

On the horseback riding experience, you will visit a Dominican cottage where you will receive a demonstration of our world-famous coffee as well as our cocoa, sugar cane, and other plants and trees on our island. In addition, our ride will take you through beautiful mountain trails and through an ecological river bed covered with trees.

* Our buggy ride will take you through hilly trails, ranches, dust, mud paddles, a stop at the river for a refreshing dip, and through the local villages of El Bonao and Vista Alegre for a nice cultural experience of the easy life of our local country.

Horseback Riding and Zipline Tour

During this amazing excursion, which combines horseback riding and ziplining for a day of heart-pounding pleasure, you may take in the splendor of Punta Cana. Along the Anamuya River, you can walk, trot, or gallop through some of Punta Cana’s most breathtaking landscapes. Then take a breathtaking zipline trip across the forest.

This excursion includes a typical Dominican supper, a tour of a plantation with samples of coffee, vanilla, and cocoa, as well as a lesson in rolling cigars. Explore the beautiful Dominican countryside on horseback. When you zipline, enjoy views of the treetops above the river. Lunch will be great with regional specialties; try some cocoa on the farm. Pick up the pace if you’d like, or just meander through the natural beauty, depending on your level of comfort and experience. After a break, prepare to soar through the treetops on an incredible zipline adventure. Your professional guide is on hand to help as you make your way over the river as many times as you’d like.

Once you’ve worked up an appetite, tuck into a traditional meal prepared by locals, and sample fresh coffee from the nearby ranch. Relax poolside or take a dip before touring the ranch, where you have a chance to sample cocoa and vanilla grown on-site.

Then, pay a visit to a local cigar plantation and take part in a cigar-rolling activity. Your tour ends with a return trip to your hotel after a day full of memory-making in one of the Dominican Republic’s most prized landscapes.

Scuba Doo Diving Scooters in Punta Cana

Drive an underwater scooter along the seabed of Punta Cana with this incredible Scuba Doo activity. An unforgettable experience!

• It is not necessary to have a diver’s license

We’ll pick you up from your hotel in Punta Cana at the time you book and head northeast to the Dominican coast, where we’ll board a glass-bottomed boat. Onboard you can enjoy a snack with a soft drink.

After a 30-minute boat ride, we’ll arrive at our destination. Kitted out in wetsuits and our Scuba Doo equipment, we’ll dive down to about three meters deep. With the help of our instructor, we’ll start to drive our scooters through the water!

We’ll spend about 15 minutes exploring the sea bottom of Punta Cana and admiring the incredible marine plants and creatures that surround us aboard our Scuba Doos. What an experience!

Afterward, we’ll sail to El Niño: one of the best spots for diving in the Dominican Republic, where we’ll get to go snorkeling!

At the end of the activity, we’ll make our way back to Punta Cana, dropping you off at your hotel at 11 am or 3:30 pm, depending on whether you booked the morning or afternoon tour.

This trip includes pick up and drop off for hotels in the following areas: Punta Cana, Cap Cana, Uvero Alto, Bavaro, and Los Corales. If you select the morning tour, pick-up will be between 7 am and 8:30 am, and between 12 pm and 1 pm in the case of the afternoon tour.
